Thanks for the quick reply QOD. I managed to get around the problem using triggers eventually. I was trying to open and close doors made with actors instead of BSP so the box needed to be like 6feet high 3ft 6ins wide and 4 ins deep. The bounding box was 6ft by 3ft 6in by 3ft 6ins which made a mess ...

BoundingBox question

How can I change the width of a box without affecting either depth or height and how can I change the depth without affecting width or height.
If I change BoxWidth it also changes the depth and I don't want that to happen.

Milkshape doesn't recognise the .bdy file it produces when it decompiles a .act file ( not for me anyway). A workaround is to decompile with Milkshape then load the .bdy file in lithunwrap and resave as a .3ds file which you can then load into milkshape. Don't try saving as a .ms3d file from lithunw...

Chumberlum changed the serial numbers somwhere around MS 1.7.7 or 8 You just go back to them and ask for a new one and they give it you free.

This is just an idea but ... wouldn't it be better if an account had to be ratified by a return e-mail before a new member can post. This would maybe cut out a lot of spammers.

I'm using Milkshape v1.7.9 but It's always done that from v1.7.0 on .ONLY with actor files DECOMPILED in milkshape. I just load the bdy file in lithunwrap and resave as 3ds file Milkshape will read that ok.

Yes it happens every time and like you it doesn't crash with . bdy files I made myself. If you load your decompiled .bdy into lithunwrap and save as .3ds milkshape will then accept it. The vfs packager and lithunwrap are in the tools folder of RF.
