I did a complete recompile. I have gotten several different error's in the log file with several different attempts to compile. But NOW the log file doesn't show any errors but the level still crashes. Another question also, when I create a new level and compile, shoud it not create a new .map file ...

I THINK several factors caused the problem....scaleing the actor down to .25 was probably the most significant factor. But the walls were also very thin, also I deleted the top and bottom faces of the walls which could have contributed to the problem.

Bingo! You are right Juutis & thanks! If I use the scale all tool in animation mode it deforms the animation. But I also found that if I play the animation before scaleing it also deforms the animation about 50 % of the time.
