"lite" versions of game SDKs?

Can someone maybe compile a list of any game development kit things that have "lite' versions? I love messing around with those, and I'd like to try out as many as I can. Beyond Virtual is one, for example.

Yes, but how do you activate the program? I already registered, I worded my first post badly, but I don't know how to activate the program.

Getting Milkshape.

How does one go about registering Milkshape? The website doesn't work anymore. How do I open up the registration dialogue in the program?

My framerate in the demo is pretty terrible as wel. I have a pretty good computer (I run HL2 and Oblivion on it with little problems), so I don't see a reason for the dated Genisis engine to slow me down :(

I'm pretty sure it's free- the thing that costs is the little "developer club" thing , but I guess thats key since it says they are how you get your games distributed.

Any progress with modeling? I'm interested to see how well TrueSpace and GameSpace work with making RF models. It would make it easier for us cheapskates who refuse to buy milkshape :P (Gmax is a huge pain. It's harder and it's animating system is very wierd compaired to stuff like milkshape esque m...

What does gameSpace lite work with?

I got bored today and downloaded the light version of GameSpace just for kicks- and apparently it's not going to do anything for me because it only exports to either trueSpace formats or the .X format.

Any users care to enlighten me?

Nah, it's quite alright.

Actually, I found out that you can get it from fileplanet.com. You gotta search around a bit (not the search function, you gotta click around for a bit), but it's there. And you don't have to register or anything with it.

Gmax installer

If anyone ever needs the GMAX installer (it's pretty hard to find online these days), I can email it to you any time. It's perfectly legal, all I'm doing is saving people the pain of searching through a hundred pages only to read every one as saying "GMAX is not offered as a stand alone product" (wh...
