Re: Simple Question
You can make levels in rfeditpro I believe which is in the tools section of your rf install. That's the editor most used but you can use a few other bsp editors for your levels. I believe if you download the making games with realityfactory book from the front page it has a section on designing leve...

Re: Simple Question
Pretty much anything is possible with RF. I've seen just about everything done with it. All it takes is time and patience and anything is possible.

Wow now that's what I call a nice link list! I wonder why it is you don't see a whole lot around about game music... Now that I think of it I'm going to have to go look for some

Re: The Tower of Druaga
There are a few that have the potential to be really cool when made to a game. But the developers just try and find the simplest way to get the anime into a game. Which ends up sucking. Naruto is an example of that.

If its happening every month you may have a virus hiding in your MBR. Are you doing a complete format writing zeros over the entire drive? Or are you using just windows format for reinstalling?

Re: Google Chrome
I love firefox... But it crashes too much when watching lots of videos. I've also seen it taking up to 300 some meg of memory, when I've already closed out videos. It has poor memory management. If they will adapt some of the background technology google chrome is using, maybe not the look. I think ...

Google Chrome
Has anyone checked out the new Google Chrome web browser? It seems its based off of firefox. Also it has seperate threads or processes for every tab. It seems faster then firefox too. But that's not really to big of a suprise seeing as google has access to many cached websites so they are able to te...

Re: weak computers ?
If you are getting a serious computer stay clear away from emachine and acer. They both are cheap but they have very low quality parts. I've had to work on more emachines and acers for friends and family then I have any other kind of computer. emachine the power supply seems to be extremely bad. ace...

Re: Archlord?
It looks kind of cool I might have to give it a go. I'm not really a fan of MMORPGs so my opinion is probably more or less biased. If your level and items define how good you are in a game it can't be good. And that's what most MMORPGs are like. I do realize that their whole existence is based on th...

Re: The Tower of Druaga
I will have to check this out. I probably better finish watching bleach first though. I'll get sidetracked and forget to come back. Is the game its based off of any good?

Re: New Monitor
Nice screen! I think acer should concentrate more on making the screens. They moved into the laptops and desktops, and to be honest the acer laptop I have is the worst i've ever had. Its very unstable. But i've always had good experience with all their screens.

Re: NVU free html editor
Maybe not natively through the interface but if you use css you should be able to place text on top of any image. An example here I prefer nvu or other tools like it because it forces you to code, but gives you the luxury of seeing what you've done with out having to save it and open it. Plus its fr...

Re: RF2, Ogre & Shaders
I believe I also saw in the ogre wiki a native support for .cg files which are what the nvidia fx composer uses. I may have misread it. But the Ogre wiki does have several programs that would help with development. Here Seems one thing to rf2's advantage is Ogre is pretty popular, and has a lot more...
