hey andy

hey i would really like to help with rf2.
so once rf2 becomes stable maybe i could try making a premade tut. game showing off the features and explaining alot of the things kind of like the one rf1 has :).

if not its all good, just trying to help.

yea i definately had alot more fun playing halo2 then halflife 2. it just seemed that halflife2 really dragged at some points and i ended up just playing other games.

is there going to a pre compiled version of rf2 with the python included or do you have to work with the programming and compile it???

also is python language free? because i have never worked with it before.

yea i had the same problem, its a weird bug ut it has to do with the naming of the textures, it took me quite a few hours but basically change the names around. certain keywords cause it to not work, i believe numbers mess it up and so do _'s along with other things.

is there a way to lock textures?

ive got a level im making thats on a space station and when the door moves i want the texture ive assigned to it to stay still not move around along with the world.

im not talking about with RF.

i wanted to try out this engine Nebula 2 since it supports alot of the latest graphical features but unfortunately it only comes in the sdk.

how do you compile source code?

i was looking at this engine and it said you had to compile the code.
so i was wondering how do you do that?

i know it has something to do with visual basic.

could someome explain? :D
