Need help with the badguy1 script
I viewed the How to Make a Free First Person Shooter part 3 on youtube and tried to copy down the script in the example. When I tried using it in my game it did not work. If anyone could look at what I typed and let me know if there are any errors, that would be great. Thanks! { Spawn[() { Console(f...

Re: Need help with enemy pawns. Tired of the robot!!
I tried going to his website and there isn't any script on it. I think he got hacked or something. Also, I wouldn't really know how to update a script even if I knew it had errors. How could a script get outdated?

Re: Need help with enemy pawns. Tired of the robot!!
I tried the youtube video already but it does not work. I saved the actor to my actor file, I wrote down and saved the script to my script file, then I added the actor to my pawn.ini file. I opened up RFEditPro and then added the pawn entity, put in the Pawntype as "badguy1", the Scriptnam...

Need help with enemy pawns. Tired of the robot!!
I would like to know if there are any other actors with the scripts and pawn.ini file information that I can get somewhere or someone has...I'm really tired of just attacking robots. That's the only enemy pawn I know how to add to my game. I need the scripts that go with actors because I have no scr...

Any actors, their scripts, and pawn.ini info??
I was wondering if anyone had, or knew where to download not only enemy pawn actors, but scripts that work with them. Also, the information I should type in for them in the pawn.ini file. I am really tired of just having the robot to fight! Thanks!

What actors (.act) go with the sample scripts?
I have no ability to program or create actors myself, so I was wondering what actors are available that would actually work the the sample scripts that come with Reality Factory. I would prefer enemy pawns. Thanks!

Re: Where is .bsp file when I save a .3DT file in RFEditPro?
I figured it out. When I went to build my level I changed the current save path to the name of my new level and it then made the .bsp and the other files I needed. Thanks for your help.

No, I didn't mess with anything. I just downloaded a new copy of Reality Factory off the website and it did the same thing.

Re: Where is .bsp file when I save a .3DT file in RFEditPro?
Should it automatically make a .bsp file whenever I save a .3DT file? Or is there something else I need to do? Everytime I save my .3DT file from RFEditPro only a .3DT file shows up.

Re: Where is .bsp file when I save a .3DT file in RFEditPro?
As you can see from my picture I created a level called Prison.3DT in RFEditPro but there is no .bsp file that was created in the levels folder.

Where is .bsp file when I save a .3DT file in RFEditPro?
If I save it my level I am working on in RFEditPro, there is no rfeditpro1.map, rfeditpro1.gpf, and rfeditpro1.bsp in my levels folder. The only file that saves is the .3DT file. For example if I call my level prisonlevel.3DT when I save it RFEditPro, no other files other than the .3DT file are crea...

Re: Cannot Open Saved Levels!
The folder is actually on my flash drive. It also does the same thing to me when I have the Reality Factory folder on my desktop. Does this matter?

Re: Can I assign a script to an actor that it was not intend
I downloaded a sample game and got the actor file and the script for the actor. Then, I also added the pawn information to the pawn file in the install folder. When I went to add them to my game nothing shows up. I put the information in the pawn entity in the RFEditPro and still nothing happened. A...

Re: How do I save my level using RFEditPro??
Thanks for your response. I read that post about how to save, but I have no idea how to compile into a .bsp file. Thanks.
