My absolute fav game was the original Tribes. graphics were fairly lame but omg the game play was awsome. I would still play it if there were servers for the original.

OMG what did I read

This is Animatrix, from old school RF. I just read some whiny shit about RF and it kind of made me mad. To anyone who thinks they cant make a good game with RF, you suck. I have made totally functional and fun wicked games with this software. you can do most anything with it. i could care less about...

Re: Bounding Box Manipulating

Have you tried not using a plane but using a thin box for your model?, since you will only see the faces it wont matter how thick it is, the box should treat it normaly, unfortunatly, per poly collision would be good for this type of game. But one question, why a 2d game in a 3d game engine? there a...

The prefab gets treated just like a brush, you can stretch and scale and adjust texture ect. I know RF makes a brush for each curve and section when you export a terrain from milkshape, and...

Message To Newbies and Whoever

Just because someone else has the latest and greatest tech doesn't mean they can make a good game or movie. The greatest creativity is when you use what you have and make it look great. Shaders an FX are not the end all for making a fun game that people play. The ones who made great sci-fi way back ...

Re: Zombie Model

These models are made to use in RF, low poly and medium resolution textures, and lighting/shaders /reflections make a lot of diference with any model. if it looks awsome and runs at 2 fps, its gonna suck. Anyway, I will try to make some act packages wth several files for diferent kinds of scenes. Ma...

Paradoxnj I have found my zombie pack, its like 5 or six different Zombie act files in shabby clothes. they are based on the Neil act file and ready to place in a game enviroment, animations and such. I just need...
