Also .3ds doesn't support a skeleton
I meant to say .gmax.
virgils animations are in .mot format and Gmax does not support .mot files
I don't want to edit the animations. I just want to edit the mesh, which I already have in .gmax format. Then i want to compile my mesh and virgil's .mot ...

Sorry for the double post, but Gmax can't open or import .max files. It needs to be converted to .3ds.

Yeah I don't have Milkshape. I use Gmax because it's free. I've never worked with animation and I wanted the same skeleton so i could use all of the vigil animations. If someone with more experience with modeling with bones and animation could make me a skeleton in Gmax that could use those ...

Need Character Model
I need a fully textured and animated character model of a generic Fantasy game hero. The amount of detail should be around that of Virgil.act, maybe a little higher poly. I need a .act and if I could also get it in .3ds or .gmax that would be great.
