I played the game on the official website ,and I can't say that I was too impressed. It didn't seem to surpass the RF level of game design. It is also hard to find information on this engine. The help docs don't help at all, and I can't log into the forum for some reason. I have do idea what makes t...

This is an easy one. Almost any road rash ever made. The sega genesis ones were awesome, and I also enjoyed it for the nintendo 64. I got to ride my motorcycle, wipe out the opposition with my lead pipe, and try to ditch the cops all at the same time. Never has there been a better racing game. The s...

more gmax trouble

Well, I've recently been distracted by other interests but decided to get back into this game dev stuff. I'm still managing to get around without milkshape by using gmax. My first model that I successfully converted was a large, red box. After I made that, I knew what to do and decided to make a mor...

lol...I never knew how much info that the rf manual covered. I started reading and sorta answered all my own questions. Anyway, for the first time I successfully converted a model made in gmax and will proceed to attempt to see if it works or not. I know where to go if I need any help. FIRST the man...

so...where do I go from here?

I've been messing around with gmax and I'm really starting to get the hang of this 3d stuff. Anyway...I'm trying to convert my models to be useable with rf. I can run those .key and .nfo scripts without error messages. Then I paste all of the info into notepad. Save with either .key or .nfo at the e...

I'd like to know a little more info since this short paragraph left me wondering a bit on where I was and what I had to do. However, you seem to have a nice start going. I'd probably play it if it was done right. I would still like a bit more info before I start critizing the storyline. Nice to hear...

I've heard something about that too? Has anyone tried it yet? I've been trying to convert my gmax models with that exporter thing unsuc...

I rather enjoyed it too. However, there are a few small details that could be worked out in my opinion. 1: The time between scenes could deal with a little work. Particularly around the conveyor belt thing and the description. I know that the slow moving along that conveyor belt thing is good for bu...

Well, since this thread somehow formed into a discussion of the definition of a nerd, I thought that I'd throw in my 2 cents. Anyways, To my knowledge, there are 3 different forms of nerds. The Smart Nerd- This is the guy that seems to be a walking dictionary. He knows the answer to just about anyth...

I got to admit, Weird Al is a pretty funny guy. It's just that I hate how people abuse him (well, to me sort of)(well, not really abuse but you get my point, or you will get my point) by listening to his music over and over. It gets old after while. That's why I can't buy any of his cd's. I also enj...
