buggy blending animation command...

Whenever i use the AnimateBlend() command to blend my scripted player's animation to the next animation, if the previous blend hasn't reached the first frame of the next animation, it automaticly skips to the first frame of the next animation then blends to the new animation (if that makes any sense...

i tried downloading some of the demos on that old forum but none of them worked. : :? :( It's a shame too because there are like 30 some demos on there that could be really useful. Is there anyway we can download those demo's?[/quote]

[OBSOLETE] some camera script commands?

It would be really nice to have some script commands that rotate the camera. This would make a scripted player much more customizable and would allow for some pretty cool effects imo. Some commands i was thinking of were: RotateCameraToPawn; RotateCameraToBone; etc, etc... These commands would also ...

Thanks for all the replays guys! :D:D Pickles suggested using two pawns instead of one to fix the rotation problem, so you should probably give that a go, since he's right 99% of the time. What exactly do you mean by two pawns? It appears that Pickles used AttachCamera(); and self.ideal_yaw=self.pla...

AttachCameraToBone() help...

ok i want to use the AttachCameraToBone() command to make a scripted 3rd person player. i tried it and it seemed to work just fine (except for a bad offset of the yaw), but i noticed that i couldnt look left to right, only up and down (im VERY new to RF scripting). So i finally figured out that i ha...

House of shadows question...per poly collision?

I noticed that when i played House of shadows, there seemed to be some per poly collison with virgil and some of the other entities. Specifically, it was virgil colliding with the the sofa and recliner in the living room area. I never knew RF had per poly collision! At least, Im pretty sure it was p...
