The scope would come of at the side and the actual barrel of the launcher would rest on the users shoulder.
The lazer would be positioned either above or below, depending on the size of it.

Creating Skyboxes with Terragen
Howdy.
Here's a tutorial for creating a tiling skybox with Terragen. The code at the end is aimed at Blitz3D, but the actual creation of the sky can be applied to RF (just texture the skybox with the images).

I didn't create it by the way.

2 of the tutorials on there are about level editing, using entities and such.
The health bar one has an example of modifying an ini file.

Best bet is to read some tutorials and play around with the level editors.

The source was posted at the time Rob was developing it, but that was on the old forums. I did have a copy of the source but I reformatted. I'm thinkin of doing something similar in Blitz, and thought taking a look at the code might eventually be useful, as it was written in VB. BTW Muzzer, i'll try...

Yeah I (try) to use Blitz3D nowadays. Plus I'm busy with college and work, so everything sort of took a back seat.
If you've still got the mesh I'd appreciate a copy. I reformatted and forgot to back up... again.

Will I ever learn?

I lost my pic
Ages ago I posted a few pictures of a mesh I created based on the pelican ship from Halo.
Anyone by any chance have those pictures still? I took a look at the web archive but it hasn't stored the RF forums from around the time I posted them.
