Extreme Boards and Blades

You very old timers might remember this, caused some excitement around 1999, until people played it. Anyway it was one of the few commercial games made with Genesis. I picked it up for 50 cents. http://terrymorgan.net/images/xboards.jpg You can buy it for .01 plus shipping, but read the review below...

It's not as hard as I thought, check
http://terrymorgan.net/make_mapzone_texture.zip

Oh, it's free..

P.s. finally got lightmapping happening in Neoaxis, it's a little harder than
checking 'lightmap' in RFedit. Screenshots on screenshots page.

Re: Hike's Dungeon Hack & Blender thread

Softimage XSI has a free mod tool, it's the same as the regular expensive
softimage, and Foundation is only $500, check
http://terrymorgan.net/softimage_modeling.html

I like it way better than Max, and there are lots of video tutorials.

This forum is really rowdy! The neoaxis forum is run by a Russian, no nonsense allowed, anyway we're all too busy trying to figure out the engine. Got a few nice weeds and trees going. http://terrymorgan.net/screenshotscurrent.htm Using texturemaker a lot, see the 2d art http://www.spiralgraphics.bi...

I got to the next to last story in System Shock and quit, the
graphics and colors were making my eyeballs fall out. It's still
in my top 5 games of all time.

Location of World Editor 2 http://www.realityfactory.info/cms/index.php/download/reality-factory/category/4-alternative-level-editors Note, blender 2.44 will load the .3ds file, but the simplest cube has 56 extra vertices which must be 'rem doubles' Not sure if RF maps are useful in Neoaxis, though.

RF.fgd should be included on my terrymorgan.net/download.htm page, look for a worldcraft tutorial. It helped with placing lights, but I don't think much else. I'm using http://www.neoaxisgroup.com engine now, I don't use RF anymore as it is software-based and obsolete. http://terrymorgan.net/screens...

How is that remedied?
You have invisible brushes the same shape as the
terrain.

have they got their weird liscencing scheme sorted out, hike?
You can read about it

http://terrymorgan.net/neofaq.htm

$0 for noncommercial, $100 for commercial <5 people,
the plugin physics and FMOD can be removed if
it turns out there's a licensing fee.
