This engine and this community deserve a place in game creation history. We have to stand up and start making stuff. The Dungeon is going to be my ne...

A Golem for my Dungeon
My son and I discussed the rest of our game design, and this is one of the big bosses he wanted. I have to bone and animate him, as well as do a texture for the face. The walls of the room this guy is in will be textured the same as him. Tricky, eh? http://h1.ripway.com/steven8/my_golem.jpg

I always use Milkshape to at least finish my models. I like the ease of placing joints, assigning vertices, texturing, animating, etc. Well, that almost covers it all. . .accept. . .like my next Golem character, I could get the shapes working the way I wanted, so I started in anim8or, and will finis...

I don't know why I thought that was Milkshape. Time for a set of glasses, I'd say. 8) By all means, texture your model in the program you feel most comfortable. I love to model in anim8or, but hate to texture in it. Milkshape is 'okay' to model in, but I love to texture in it. anim8or is also free. ...

Andy is right. The VFS extractor is just fine, but what you would extract would be useless anyway.

I'd say Tab is being more than patient, he is a trailblazer. I know that I have said that a beginner can can find the answers they need to get themselves going and create fun levels to play with, but no, the answers which Tab is searching for can not be found in the help. He is way beyond the help f...

Well, they read x, y, z, with z being towards and away from you. Change z to positive 5 and the weapon should be further away. (if I am thinking correctly.) Don't be afraid to tweak those settings. You can always put them back where they were and tweak in a different direction. I can't confirm your ...

I have never been a scripter, but in the online help, I found this is pawn scripting: SetGroup(char *Name ); Set the name of the group the Pawn belongs to Name. HostilePlayer(bool State ); If State is true then the Pawn will include the player in its list of potential targets. HostileSame(bool State...
