I have a 5200, running 81.98 and the only conflict I had was with RF, until QOD made his change in the D3D driver. Now I have no problems with any programs.

I don't find the 5200 crappy at all. I like it.

I don't blame you, Spyre. It gets a little tiresome listening to this junk.

I feel your rant was totally justified, myself. And Hike, you are just using this as a chance to get in some more jabs at RF's editors. You always love that chance.

I had a geforce 4 mx and got Scrapland, which employs shaders. A great portion of the geometry was flat black! It stank! I got some money for my birthday and got a geforce fx 5200. Much better.

Still got the geforce 4 on the shelf.

Double check the sizes of your textures. I think RF can handle more than one size texture on an actor, just as long as they are powers of 2. If I wanted more than one texture on an actor, I'd just paste them special into one correct size texture and use the region function in Milkshape to assign the...

Same results with 075. It makes sense that we somewhat parallel on the FPS, since they are both Invidia Cards. Is there any way to bring the video set-up back into play? The user could choose his or her particular Graphics card and then RF would would map to the better driver for it? That is, if we ...

Are they untextured in Milkshape? To create the actor for RF, you must have the textures in the same folder as the actor and have the file path set up in the astudio, to that folder. But first, you must make sure the textures are applied correctly in Milkshape, elst they won't be there no matter how...

You know, I did a fresh install of 072A, then downloaded the 75 update and copied it over. I restarted RF and the screen went black, as you expect, then showed the little message I see when the system is shutting down or rebooting, then, RF came up and ran as though nothing had ever happened. Weird....

They both work. Awesome. Now, which was is better is a good question. I would say DrawIndexedPrimitive + D3DPT_TRIANGLELIST gave me roughly 3 to 4 FPS higher and the cutscene ran quicker (don't know if that is caused by the d3d driver or not), but I'd say it is quicker by a nose. I have not updated ...
