You know, I played the demos and I saw great collision detection and the physics were cool!! Everything I hit bounced off just right and it happened in a believable way. Hmmm. I saw nothing wrong with it. Lot of fun. I love the nitro burst. :D I crashed that buggy every which way you can!!! my boys ...

I haven't finished the dl yet. Alan, Bronze Gargoyle, said he was getting like 96 - 100 fps with the updated release.

P.S. - I think it looks awesome, Mike!!

A mature snowball fight. I love it!

Are there going to be penalties for putting a rock in your snowball?

Also keep in mind that they must be sized like this, 16 x 16, 32 x 32, 64 x 64, 128 x 128, 256 x 256, 512 x 512 and so on. I know the engine will handle larger textures now, but I'm not sure just how big. I have used 1024 x 1024 and it worked.

**Update**

I uninstalled 072A, and re-installed 070, which I found on an old disk of mine. I ran in 1024 x 768 with the faster driver at 32 bit. It ran just fine.

2/10/2003. Just d3ddrv.dll - not a dx7 driver.

Well, I may have been thinking 067, but it may have been 068. Did we jump from 063D or whatever straight to 068?

Nevermind, I completed my demo back in 2003. I'll check the date when I get home from work.

Oh yes, I agree totally. That's why I didn't want to really open it up. I believe it is truly a tempest in a teapot. I know it's not opengl itself that is the problem. I know it's in the RF driver, that's why I want so badly for d3d to work. QOD has enough on his plate and I appreciate everything he...

I am running the newest forceware river 81.95 from the nvidia website. My old stuff from RF067 runs okay, and I know the driver has changed substantially since then. I just hate running in opengl. I know programmers seem to love it, but it just doesn't do certain things in RF. I don't want to open t...

I just wonder what's happened. I did Castle of the Pharaoh in RF067, and it works just fine in D3D, with that old driver on this card with this driver. How has it changed?

Any tweaking of the d3d driver for compatibility with nvidia card drivers?
