well, i currently have a geforce 7400 (laptop) with 512mb and 2GB system ram and i can not run crysis too well! so last week i decided to max things out, 3Ghz daul core, with 4GB DDR3 system ram on an asus striker II extreme, 750w PSU and a lovely geforece 9800 GX2, this is the top graphics card out...

milkshape does crash alot but it has better frame rate and texture mapping than RF, I know RF uses alot of resources for other things than just rendering but still i can easily move models that reach its limit polly count easily and instantly. Well i cant wait till the latest stuff is up there on so...

I am way behind on the time plan i stated, however latest news is i have started on your 'normal trooper' and have almost completed the legs, the head should be easyier as its a mask, we looking at the same poly cout as last time, i cant remember what it is but when im home i can find it out.

depends if you want reflections on your water, if you do then you would have to model your character, if not then you can use the standard model and replace his arm with a better arm model (virgils hand isnt the best) the option is up to you. some games dont bother with reflections, others cheat by ...

mirrors is not the only thing that will reflect the character windows and water would do this aswel, also you would have to have some sort of object to represent collision detection for the character.

people who come here are people who want to make games without programming, thus the programming part of the engine gets left behind, i for one have looked at the code and think it is possible but im like everyone else i dont have much idea about coding... admin is QoD he is far to busy to update it...

also is used as a greek mathamtical symbol and is = to 1.61803398874989 its the first thing on the site, and our memory doesnt need upgrading like computers, we use less thatn 25% of ours, our brains are too big for our own good, maybe in a few thousand years when we evolve some more we may use more...
