Re: Spyre's Game Thread!

Wow Spyre, it's been a long time since I've checked the forum and everyone's come real far. I like your concept a lot, it seems like a solid idea and the visuals are some of the best I've seen from RF. Keep it up!

3rd person weapons don't need their own animations. They mimic the animations of the player actor. Because of this, Your Virgil will need gun animations for walking, runnung, jumping, etc. Its a bit of a pain...

Thanks! It looks so much better with a background, too.
I'm still working on the textures and optimizing it. The polycount is currently 1224 A little high I think.

Yeah, I've been playing mario 64 ds for a couple of months and I'm still not tired of it. those mini games are more addictive than tetris... And I just finished playing through resident evil 4 for the fourth time... Don't know why I'm not burnt out on it yet... Incredible replay value. Looking forwa...

Personally, I find I'm way more productive working on other people's ideas for levels or textures simply because when I'm working on my own stuff, I keep changing plans and starting over from scratch. This often happens at least 8 or 9 times before I decide I liked the first one best. Is that sad?.....

Clive Barker's Undying Makes great use of atmosphere to instill fear in the player instead of shock tactics like other horror games. Its the only game that freaks me out and makes me jump at small noises... Not even resident evil 4 makes me do that. Awesome FPS/Survival Horror game. Check it out. R...

I like the title banner but it would be easier to read the text if the background was black. Good work though.
