Mostly, yes, but seppgirty is fairly new. Unfortunately, the thing he is having an issue with is one of the things I never understood either. Character scripting. :?

Re: Pick Up and Drop an item

I tried to set a weapon initial = 4 low = 0 high = 4 , and it i pressed P at various spots but only one weapon dropped total. The idea was the logic gate -type use attribute-would just wait until it gets the signal that you use a specific attribute and triggers the attribute pawn to go to an order ...

Re: Pick Up and Drop an item

We would need two entities for each dropped item, one Logic Gate and one Pawn, and this limits the total number per level if we want to keep the memory as free as possible for other calculations. I might try work on it some day,for stone attributes to be dropped on pressure plates that activate traps...

Re: Pick Up and Drop an item

Dang. I just knew it was going to involve scripting. Out side of using the generic melee script, I have never successfully scripted anything.

Re: Pick Up and Drop an item

Press P and the weapon appears dropped and you can pick it up again. Careful not to have unassigned control keys,if it does nt work, hit default controls in the level preview options/controls. I say because i accidentally had the attack button unassigned without having noticed it (all i did to mess...

Re: Fonts

Very nice Egyptian Hud graphic Steve, feels like am back in the good old game days of 2001. Is that carpet a magic flying one that you can carry you to that place?Maybe spoil the of the elements. It is not absolutely needed to answer and spoil the adventure surprise ,I am glad i see a new RF level ...

Re: Fonts

All right! I have successfully placed my own font in the HUD for the health indicator. I have also created my own graphic health indicator. I'll attach a screen.

The Eye of Horus disappears as you lose health, and yes...that is a flying carpet!

Re: Logicgate Question

Not a problem, Daniel. For the time being, I put in a changelevel that restarts the level and wipes out the players attributes. Simple, yet effective!

Have fun at your convention!! :D

Logicgate Question

Okay, I have managed to get an Attribute Logicgate to work correctly. The player has to collect three objects, then the door opens to leave the room and I set off a Countdown Timer for the same length the door opens and closes. I also put in a Change Attribute (?) entity to reset the attribute to ze...

Re: Fonts

Got it!!! Thank you, Daniel, for all your patience and help. I also was able to figure how to do what I really wanted in the first place...change the text on the countdown timer. Not the type style I want yet, but that will come this weekend now that I know how. :D

[edit]I had to convert to TGA.
