Re: RF and RF2
The overwhelming silence should answer your question. The last commit to RF2 repository was 1st jun3 2011 2 1/2 years ago. Paradoxnj who was writing RF2 has not been on the forum since last may, so it would appear the project is dead. Only QOD can answer the question about RF1 but I would say it's p...

Re: Zombie's Attack Finished
Yes well done dailoc. I also noticed the crosshair thing, it makes it far more difficult to aim if the gun doesn't point at the target. It's just a case of adjusting the position and rotation of the gun, it's not difficult.

Re: NeoAxis considering Open Source
Would it be worth it to import .fbx and .ase directly into Equity what do you think. I am just finishing some of our old stuff we did as stand alone. Then convert the whole thing to an ogre based renderer instead of OpenGL. Yes Terry it would. But both import and export. Also the big thing about mi...

Re: NeoAxis considering Open Source
Well, it seems NeoAxis has decided not to go open source after all  . So nothing else left to do except sit and wait for the Paradise engine to be released in September. Unity or UDK are possibilities I suppose but that means changing all our model formats to .fbx or .ase formats and the only e...

NeoAxis considering Open Source
See this thread:- http://www.neoaxis.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=0&t=7766 Certainly that would be good news for game makers. Also another free game engine due to be released in September 2013 called the Paradise engine using ogre for rendering see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EAWwwvyiaOE&feature=pla...

Re: A blast from the Past.
Hi Veleran. The music is myself playing the Fiddle, Guitar and Mandolin (multitracking) on the menu and solo fiddle at the beginning of the game. I never actually completed the game in total but there are two playable levels and the the third is just where I started to Prepare an open air level with...

Re: Zombie's Attack Fixed
Well Dailoc I managed to finish the game. Thanks for the credit. Yes I agree it's a bit short but nevertheless it's a great game. One thing I can suggest is to make it so that some of the items you need to collect are not always in the same place each time you start the game also make the enemies ap...

Re: Zombie's Attack
It seems most odd. It is definitely the intro.avi file that's giving you trouble. You did replace the one in the video\menu directory didn't you.
I just re-upped an old demo of mine. Try that one see if it runs ok.

Re: Zombie's Attack
Ok I tried this on Windows 8 and no problems at all. It ran straight out of the box. @realgaming It seems then that if you are running xp you have a problem with your pc & it looks very much like missing direct show codecs. You could try repairing windows from your XP installation cd. Does the RF de...
