Re: Weapons, on and off?
Just have a script attached to an "invisible" actor in the desired level like so:
Spawn{() (or whatever)
weapon# = false
and to switch back, change to true

Re: My first weapon
I do not use blender, but I agree with Sph!nx about the extra polygons. The sword reminds me somewhat of a hobbit sword or a cartoon one, if that is the look you are going for you are doing great!!

Weapons, on and off?
I'm a little unsure if I'm posting this in the right place...
How can you make a weapon usable (visable, selectable) in one level, and unusable(invisible, unselectable) in the next?

Multiple Level files linked
Would it be possible to link 2 seperate level files? I am unsure about this, and any help would be appreciated.

Gmax Specifics
Hello out there!
Does any one happen to know about the specifics of a gmax model to import it to a .key or .nfo file? (I already know how to export them, just don't know the exact geometry it would need to be in).

A slight problem with an ebook
I have read Making 3D games with reality factory, and I have come upon a slight problem... Apparently, the "MoveFoward" command on page 133 is not recognized in the script, the debug message says it doesn't know what "MoveFoward" means. Is the book slightly out-of-date, o...

 I personally don't have much background in reality factory scripting, but I can answer you P.S. Well, from what I have read in the info on reality factory, you can sell the games you make (but I am still not all that sure  ). I have also wondered that myself! Reality factory is pretty c...

Help me in beginning!
Hello, I am rather new to Reality Factory, and I have little to no clue on programming First Person Shooters for Reality factory in the script editors. If someone could help me out with the enemy coding and the gun coding I would be most obliged (an if possible, help with compiling the entire thing)...

Making Actors (or is it called models?)
Hello,
I am new to Reality Factory, and I have gmax (for Trainz 2004 custom content creation), and I have heard that one could make actors/models using it, but I am still a little confused, could someone help me out?
Thanks!
