No. It is not built upon RF. I completely rewrote it and made some design changes. It's not a full game yet but it does some stuff. Did you download the Alpha? It doesn't really do much yet. The code dump I will be doing this Monday will do more. I'm hoping to have a player running around on a plane or a terrain.

Sorry to hear that. You could use OpenGL. The Ogre engine adapts to your computer. You might want to download the Ogre Demos and see if they run. If they run, then you will be able to run RF2.

Yes. It's spring time now. People will be outside more often now. There are also college finals coming up. You won't see frequent posts but people are here.

Why are you using an older version of RF? You should be using 0.76 with the patch.

Here are the differences: -- RF1 uses Genesis 3D for it's graphics engine. RF2 uses Ogre3D 1.7.2 -- RF1 uses Simkin for a scripting language. RF2 uses Lua -- RF1's current GUI is not flexible. I am working in a separate repository for the moment. I am doing a "what I have release" the day after easter. I am not updating SourceForge, but will make an upload next Monday. I am just trying to polish up a couple of things then I need to do a release build and package it.
