I am on the track of the mystery of the transparent wall... sort of. Looking in the editor I noticed I have a spotlight pointed at the transparent wall. I tried changing some settings. The wall was still transparent in the new computer. So I moved the spotlight away. And the wall was not transparent...

Probably one of those weird bugs that happen for no logical reason. Did you try rebooting your computer?

I have rebooted and I have tried the previous version, DEMO3, all with the same result. Weird indeed.

The beam from the players weapon is made with sprites. The pawns beam is a bolt effect.

new codex worked great. got the game running. Game did crash after talking to the chef robot near the bulls..... Game looks great.

I installed the codec and the demo worked! I am at work so I can't play it but I was able to get past the RF splash screen and watch the demo's opening scene.
