Reality Factory 0.75C Update and Source Code

Post by QuestOfDreams » Mon Feb 05, 2007 9:36 pm

A new update for Reality Factory is available. The main changes in Reality Factory 075C are related to the source code:
MFC has been replaced with STL and WinAPI functions and project files for MS VC++ 2005 have been added. This means that everyone can compile Reality Factory with freely available tools now (MS VC++ 2005 Express).

There are also some bug fixes and new features included in this update:
Bug Fixes:
- random crashing when loading saved games
- driver selection dialog
- camera rotation when switching between menu and game
- player scale in multiplayer games

Added script commands asin, acos, atan
Changed behaviour of (imploding) shockwave particle system (ParticleSystemProxy)
Changed LOD calculation of StaticMesh entity

Wow thanks! I can't wait to see what all we can do now that mfc is gone and everyone can compile.
