Please remember that the members of this forum do have lives outside the forum.
Some are working at day jobs, some at university, studying at college or school,
some are parents running a home and at least one member is in the army.
We all want to spend time on our own projects and have our own problems to solve so
our time is limited.

1 READ the manual.

2 READ the free e-book Making 3D Games with Reality Factory written by Pickles.

3 READ the FAQ's on the forum.

4 EXPERIMENT. Try things out for yourself. This is the best way to learn by far.

5 SEARCH the forum ... Your problem has probably been encountered before and answered.

6 Examine the main demo (the one that comes with RF) and see if you can work out how
it was done there.

7 If it is a scripting problem, there are a number of members free demo's available for
download, look at the scripts in those and see if you can work out how things were done.

8 If you still have the problem ask politely and use a descriptive title (a title like "HELP!!!!!!" will more than likely be ignored). You will find people here more ready to answer your question if you use the word "Please" occasionally.

9 Thank people for their efforts in helping you even if it doesn't solve your problem.
