Redesign of the Reality Factory Website

Post by QuestOfDreams » Sun Jan 01, 2006 5:51 am

As you may have noticed the Reality Factory website has undergone a major redesign. The 1st version was a rather primitive design to quickly replace the realityfactory.ca site. The new design is hopefully more pleasing and better organized.
Demo and resource downloads are now located at http://realityfactory.filefront.com only, the main RF installer/update and the source code can be found directly on the site.
I've started a Gallery section for RF projects and in the About section I've added a feature list. If you want your game screenshots in the gallery just send the images and a short description of the project to realityfactory@gmx.at

As you can see I've also created a new RF logo. I think it's pretty cool and I hope you'll like it as much as I do

If you find any broken links or other bugs on the new site please don't hesitate to report them. Also any comments on the design or suggestions for improvement are welcome.

Daniel

People, please calibrate your monitors...
The RF-snapshots - and especially the one in the new site-design - are WAAYYY TOOOO DARK.

nope it's not dark; i've seen ones that were much darker.
My current level i made for fun is darker too, prepare to turn off the light in order to play and get a spooky atmosphere with a dark game in a dark room!

sorry couldn't hold myself. :)

Really lovin' the new site. Excelent craftsmanship in web design. Logo looks great, but I think its a bit gothic, but im cool with it. I give the new site a five outta five stars in my book. GREAT JOB!!!! :D :D :D

In this screenshot it's all bsp but the arch was slowing down the level quite a bit so I've replaced it with a static mesh now to increase the frame rate. (as a bonus this allowed for better texture mapping)

Yep, the level was designed exclusively for the website layout
