Mech Game

Post by dude121-etd »

Sup, peeps? I'm a noob to RF but I've been working with Torque and Genesis3D for almost 3 years now. Anyways, I haven't begun anything with RF except a download. I'm starting a Thief-like game (short and simple) and will learn the interface of RF while doing so. Anyways, the game is actually Christian. No violence or anything like that. The game's story I will only release once I'mpleted which should be by next summer. I have a couple of friends helping...and the online tutorials.

hey dude,

welcome to RF, good stratergy keep it simple first then move on to the bigger flashier game ideas.
if you've used Torque and genesis3d you'll be right at home,

'cept RF is much more simple to grasp.
RF is actually quite powerfull and not at the same time. it has options to do amazing thing if you know how work around certain pitfalls.

I wish you good luck with game and feel free to ask questions round here were pretty helpfull
the only advise i can give you is read the docs thoroughly before you use it. if you are unsure of how to operate an entity after reading the docs on that subject then post here.

Again welcome!
