Need some help on questions [Front Line Soldiers]

Post by FragMatic » Tue Jul 17, 2007 7:42 pm

Hi, I was planning on making a game with RF, but I have a few questions.

  • - How can you improve the AI of those Pawns?
    - How can you put a prop in your level with RFEditpro?
    - Is RF able to make multiplayer games like CS? Or will RF2 be?
    - When is RF2 going to be released?
    - Can I import HL2 maps into RFEditpro?
Thanks!

1 : Yes you can by learning Simkin The script code RF1 uses.

2 : Yes you have to make the prop as an ACT file, and then script it using simkin.

3 : RF1.not at the moment ( there was some talk awhile ago about trying it ) RF2 wait till 2010 to find out ( This should be yes by then )

4 : 2010

5 : If you go by copywrite NO. ( but some new c++ programmer could make a importer or HL2 file converter for RF2 )

Hope this answers your Questons

PS this post is in the wrong place it should be in General Discussions

No its mine. didnt read the post title.

BUT

This post should have been posted in you other Front Line Soldiers topic as it is about Front Line Soldiers.

Try not to open too many topics

Ie. if you need help with scripts search for the help you need first ( 80% of the time it has been answer twice before ) if not use the topic that comes close to what you need and post there.

Game Designs is like a tennis match for passing game ideas back and forth.

Hope to see your game soon......
