Hia! well, I'm actualy taking a review of your game and it looks very interesting, but, do you have an argument or some story about the game?

Very good project! I'm waiting for it finished.

Sorry you guys, this project is put on hold for the moment.
I've been really busy lately, and I don't have much time to post on these forums, or work on my game. Maybe later, when I don't have a tight schedule.

RREEVIVAL!
Maybe. I'm considering it, but only by revamping most of the game. New story and gameplay. I'm going to take some inspiration from Metro 2033 and The Road. Maybe something around military experiments that result in a temporary dimensional opening that only opened for a few hours, but caused a bunch of supernatural creatures to come pouring out. Then the military starts bombing and then uses nuclear weapons, which proves unsuccessful. So the surviving humans are forced underground or into reinforced buildings where they are forced to hide. Then you come in. I'm considering between having a kid getting sick and having to save him (generic) or doing something bad and getting thrown out of your sanctuary. I dunno. I'm just looking for ideas right now

Story number 2 sounds better IMO. I'll make some story ideas and stuff for SB BTW, and you can yes/no them. But do more work on this till next year when I can help with SB more.

I'm also considering being a messenger boy to another colony, but thats just ripping off metro 2033. I'm considering that you steal medical supplies for some sick kid, but he ends up dying anyway. Then you get thrown out, but I really don't have a story after that.

what about this?

you then see that more are infected with the same disease. you want to know what was wrong with the drugs so you go back to where you stole them. there you get to know something that makes you want to take revenge.

dunno

Not really sure about that, because it seems to confine the player in that one area

I'm considering having the player kicked out, then finding the same disease that the kid had and a new pandemic is going to kill pretty much everyone. Then you have a choice whether to save the people in the tunnels where you lived, or save yourself.

I'm also going to be using the built in player. Blasphemy, I know, but it's for ease of use for switching levels, the ability to drop guns and conversations.

Anyway, I was planning not to show these, but I was too proud of the quality that I couldn't. This is almost all the weapons that are going to be in the game, save 2 or 3.

AKM http://img36.imageshack.us/img36/753/89368604.png
520 polys. It's actually the same model from the old force recon demo, except for a new uv map and skin

AR-7 "Explorer" survival rifle http://img99.imageshack.us/img99/4606/ar7.png
574 polys. It's really an interesting looking weapon, so I decided to include it.

AR15/M16A4 http://img29.imageshack.us/img29/5803/ar15.png
737 polys. I know, its a ton of polys but the environment has heavy fog to show that apocalyptic theme.

Desert Eagle http://img263.imageshack.us/img263/4300/deagle.png
334 polys. Not much to say here

Glock 19 http://img99.imageshack.us/img99/3481/glock.png
372 polys. I really like the ingrained text and rust on this one

Hatsan Aimguard http://img36.imageshack.us/img36/2778/hatsan.png
516 polys. Only shotgun in the game, but I'm considering adding a sawn off shotgun or a double barrel shotgun

Winchester Model 70 http://img29.imageshack.us/img29/3046/m70.png
536 polys. Yay for bolt action rifles!

Pipegun http://img263.imageshack.us/img263/872/pipe.png
114 polys. Kids, do NOT make a pipe gun at home. They are extremely dangerous, but to be expected in a post apocalpyse environment. I'm thinking of making this gun in various calibers.

SKS Carbine http://img263.imageshack.us/img263/5851/sksr.png
514 polys. I really like the rust on this one, and hell, SKSs are cool as hell.

I know I've got a Remington 700 lying around somewhere, I'll find it.

I'll get out some ingame shots in a few.

Your models look good, however I would suggest trying to add more detail to the textures.
Use more reference and avoid using the sponge filter in Photoshop. ;)

I know, this shot just radiates positivity and happiness. The shot is pretty far away though.

That looks awesome. Are the models and textures of the people done by you?
