Ok I tried this on Windows 8 and no problems at all. It ran straight out of the box.
@realgaming
It seems then that if you are running xp you have a problem with your pc & it looks very much like missing direct show codecs. You could try repairing windows from your XP installation cd.
Does the RF demo work? I should have asked you that earlier.

The RF demo works fine, so I don't understand why this game will not work.

It seems most odd. It is definitely the intro.avi file that's giving you trouble. You did replace the one in the video\menu directory didn't you.

I just re-upped an old demo of mine. Try that one see if it runs ok.

OMG. It is just me, that has been blind :o
I always thought, that I had to put both video files into the video folder. but then...
You did replace the one in the video\menu directory didn't you?
...Aaaand...I was like FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!! :lol:
I have seen that folder named 'menu' many times, but I did not a single time look inside that folder :)
I have to say sorry, because I have taken so much of your time, both of you. And all that because of me being blind.
And I thank you both so much, for trying to help, trying to do your best, but the only reason it never worked, was because of me being blind.
So...I'm sorry to have caused so much trouble, and I can't thank you both enough for trying to help all you did.

But that's how it is going sometimes, and what did I learn? To use my eyes :lol:

Thanks alot both of you :)

Don't worry about it. It happens to the best of us from time to time. Glad to be of assistance.
