Grok I know you prefer windowed but there should be an option for both. So any chances you can support full screen. In the demo to make fullscreen manually edit realityfactory.ini or copy videosetup.exe to demo folder

Whether there will be a fullscreen option included in the final game will be a later question. First I need to get to a complete game. For now, If you want to play the demo fullscreen you could just copy/paste the videosetup-file to the demo folder yourself, or edit the ini file.

I have added a shower room/toilets to the spacestation game level and set a different kind of door with a different method of opening it to that room.

Looking good so far. I do believe there is a limit on number of objects in a level, just so you know.

Thanks for the heads up. I have already come to the conclusion that I might have made the level a bit larger than I need to tell the story. I will probably cut down the size of the level :)

There was a short lived TV-series called Space Rangers in the early 90's. Only seen pictures of it.

Then we have Rocky Jones, Space Ranger that was a TV series in the 50's and also made it into comics. A bit before my time.

Isaac Asimov wrote about Lucky Starr, Space Ranger.

And Buzz Lightyear is a Space Ranger.

So there have been some Space Rangers around, but there is no actual TV-series corresponding to the games I am making.

There is a connection to Star Trek the original series. It is sort of the same universe but I have added the Space Rangers Special Operations Branch (s.o.b), that are called in when ordinary Star Fleet is not enough. Enterprise or any of its sister ships will however never make an appearance in the games. Nor will captain Kirk or any of the characters of the tv-series. Some of the actors from TOS do however appear, sort of. I try to stay enough clear of any copy right/trade mark infringements.

I've made the games as a mock TV-series because it is an easy format to make games in episodes that still can be played by themselves. This makes it easier to actually finish a game and not be sucked into an eternal making of a game that never will be finished.

A new movie clip from the development of the game (with a Star Trek connection).

I've watched this all along, and I think it looks awesome. Every now and then a new user comes along and takes RF to new places. You are the latest, Grok. Well done!

Thanks. We haven't seen if I can go all the way to get an actual game together. But I'm doing my best :).

Glad to see some more activity here. Best of luck with your game and sorry that I have no idea on the camera glitch problem you described in another thread.

:) Simple could be my middle name.

Another video on the progress (triggering a cutscene)

I still have a problem with playing movies in the game with the sound. The first movie to be played works fine. For following movies the sound gets out of sync. Any ideas on why and how to handle it?

I'm sorry. I can't help either. That is a good video on triggering a cutscene though. I've never tried to do that.

Thanks anyway guys. I'm confident there will be a way to get this to work.

By the way I'm beginning to think that the difference between triggering the door and the cut-scene might be that with the door there was a model involved but not with the cut-scene.

And speaking of cut-scenes I do have another one up.
