Yeah thanks Dude, if i didn't mention it earlier, it is very much appreciated, i too was a tad worried(not too much though, we've been out for longer in the past) but all fears were squashed when i saw the link!

BIG UPS!
looking forward to future installments

I agree, are you still developing it at all? or have you been to busy making the engine better?

to be honest there's not much new I could show you, but the game's not dead yet
also I've been busy with some other projects lately (one of them is writing a basic multiplayer game for university, which I have to finish until september... )

yes, thanks QOD :) i well know how much effort time and money it takes to run a website, so i really wanna thank you. In a few months i'll probably be setting up a site myself on my friend's webserver, once i do i'll be happy to help host some things.

I also thank you very, very much for your help - really revival - or the rf community and really rf itself. i found myself not playing rf because of the community being down, so this is excellent! thanks so much!

i have already sed thanx but i dont want to seem like i am complianing, but the bandwidth is very low on the site, and its going to take some time to download the latests version, and i dont want to download it because it will slow the forums down even more, is there going to be an upgrade or not.

i have got about 100MB online storage through tiscali being a broadband customer, now i dont know how to upload to it yet, but i know that the bandwidth is good, if you want me to host the update files i could, if i finde out how to, but it is up to you, and as i sed before i dont want to complian because a forum is better than non and i would be lost without it!

looks like that fdcservers (the provider of dhost) has currently some speed problems. afaik they will add some new lines to speed everything up a bit soon.

also the speed seems to depend pretty much on the time you visit the site - night time and morning time (GMT) should be fine

Daniel,

The about.htm is outdated, I know, copy/paste, nobody uses
animation master to make actors in 5 years, Gimp, Irfanview all free,
kill Paint Shop Pro. this is better:

Milkshape (5MB?)- Modeler that takes apart and builds RF .act files.

Gmax (20MB) -Modeler that texture maps and builds RF .act files, it's much like 3ds MAX w/o the $4000 price tag and character studio.

http://www.genesis3d.com/~wog/tools.htm -.act export plugins for Gmax.

Wings 3d (2MB)- The easiest modeler.

The Gimp (4MB?) -The best free paint program.

Good to Have-

Pickles' Reality Factory Book $12 I think.

Texture Maker- $85, but worth it.

Deep Paint 2 - a free paint program (58MB)

Links on http://terrymorgan.net/download.htm

minimum and recommended systems are a joke, both are on the trash heap for years, please update your content, your web visitors are
living in 2005.
