lol, too much free time?
just as advice, if your hand drawing, dont use a regular pencil. the tip is too thick and it shows. try using a mechanical pencil.

I don't think it's a pencil. I suppose it's oil-drawing? AgentArrow, what is it? Looks cool for a one-colour-image.

I'm guessing its an ordinary pencil which he smudged to color it in. It's just drawn at a small scale. My advice; draw bigger. Other than that, it looks promising.

not an ordinary pencil. It needed to be sharpened however. It's an Eberhead Feather light drawing pencil. Very nice for pictures, very expensive. It was a birthday gift, ten pencils for $50.

It was drawn very small, then my scanner blew it up to 3x the normal size for no reason :\ I used a blending stump but should have used it better, blown up you can see the lines left behind...

the text reads ::DT:: Phantoka. One of my Tribes names.

also, it's a Bionicle figure, the same one I made the modifications of the picture.
That's another thing. Any other forum, I'd be ridiculed for that picture.

whell, for a start the outlining is very good. but to be honest, the shading has no depth and so it looks flat and therefore lacks realism, you may want to start using different pencils for your outlining and shading, smudging *cring* isnt shading dude, you obviously have some raw talent tho cause the outline is rather good, you should look at some tutorials on shading on the net or in drawing books (ive never found it easy to learn from tutorials especially when it comes to art but it might help a bit with basic technique.)

anyway, this could end up looking quite awesome if you (as mentioned by someone else I think?) draw in larger scale and use some proper shading (use a softer pencil [up to 4B] for dark parts and dont go harder than an HB for shading, clean off with something harder (to remove grainyness) like a 2H,

last bit of advice, get a drawing pad, drawing on printing paper is a complete waste of a good pencil, im taking art as an AS level and if we ever brought in a sketch on regular paper our professor would tear it up.

Good luck with your drawing. Sorry for the long post  but hope its helpful and please dont take offense its all just ment as constructive crit.

Thanks Psyco, But I drew it in my notebook, my SKETCH notebook, not ordinary printer paper, but I did a good cleanup job, that's all.
My outlines could be better, and I need a new set of blending pencils, believe it or not that isn't smudged, it's doen with a special pencil my mom got me (She's also a good artist)
So I have some more pictures, none photoshopped, all coloring done with colored pencils :)
