Thanks for reminding me,I have to set it up again and now look for a client.
Which client you are using, can we transfer pics etc through it?
I do not know how to use commands and such yet,am reading the help.
Can i just chat through Google chrome or do i have to install a separate client?
I can not find any old password i might have used in the past hmm,if i already used Veleran i might have to make it Velerans or something.

There are tons of IRC clients.

Pictures I usually share through a 3rd party image site like imgur.

Freenode has a web client if you don't want to mess with finding one. Here

If you used your email during registration of your nick you can do a password reset.

Code: Select all

/msg NickServ SENDPASS {nickname}

Thanks the one you say takes me to the one google chrome was sending me so far at the address http://webchat.freenode.net/ i see two empty login boxes under the title,
Connect to freenode IRC

Nickname:
Channels:
Auth to services:
captcha:
Will this page log me in?i do not see any password box there.Or does it take me to another page after that to pick the RF chatroom..i do not know yet.
About the pics,i meant in the chat,if you can transfer pics to other chat members but if it can not then it is ok ,there are other ways to send pics like the classic email ,or skype .

I do not see where you can register again from the beginning.

Nickname you just put what you want your display name to be.

If you fill out your nickname and the captcha then join i'll help you figure the rest out. :)

Looks like you must have removed the channel from the channel field. It should contain #realityfactory. Going here: http://webchat.freenode.net/?channels=realityfactory should auto populate that field. Then all you have to do is put your nickname, type the captcha and click connect.

Also you might wanna edit your previous post and remove your ip from it. :) if you're self conscious about that sort of thing.
