Change the .exe bit map

Post by rgdyman » Mon Mar 16, 2009 3:31 pm

I have been trying to change the RF. exe image and cant seem to get it.

In the RF folder I would like to change the exe image and the description.
How would one go about that?

Thanks,

XN Resource Editor will allow you to do it.

Thanks again for that. I have one more question. Im currently using " Click Team Install Creator"

This works fine. The problem is people can just goto their harddrive , right click ,copy paste, Now they can easily
hand off my title to as many people as they want.. lol.. Not a good marketing plan. Is there ant program , or ,how do I prevent this from happening?

Why would you copy protect an open source product?

I think he wants to stop people stealing his models, sounds, and other media, more than the game engine.

When you install the program, it puts this stuff out in the open for people to grab. You may want to try using an encrypted VFS.
