Yes, a very quite period that has gone on for an uncomfortable amount of time. Not sure how to really stir things up but to get some people to start working on some projects. Need to make something to wow people to start the chatter up again. Invite all your friends to join members! RF makes it easy for anyone to make a game!

Indeed. I still visit the forums daily, but sadly new posts are rare.

Could be sooner than you'd expect. Little birds told me that a certain user might have a little something on his hard drive that he only needs to wrap up and upload... I also heard his nick starts with a J and ends with an S.

Well I may be back in the community at least, and actual game design may be happening in 5 or 6 months, depending on if I stop school after this year.

EDIT
Darkmaster, are you back too? Watcha been up to?

Stealthbunnies sounds pretty good. I was also thinking of creating a tactical shooter with RF, but I dunno right now. I wish I had the determination to create that apocalypse game, but I found out its not really feasible with RF

Apocalypse game? Like zombies? That would be doable with RF wouldn't it? I was actually wanting to do a map at least with zombies sometime, so maybe that too. I can do it a lot sooner if my clan dies but I don't want it to :p. So I won't be able to do much unil next year.

It was supposed to be an FPS/RPG, with a big map but all the NPCs roaming and stuff in realtime was way to hard.

Well we could make a normal zombie game FPS. And if/when I get into scripting I could make a roam script. I've also got ideas for a duck and cover script with script points. I wonder how hard it is to add extra flags for script points like north east south west, so the NPC can detect where the cover is on a certain script point...

Isn't that what pathpoints are for? In RPGs, the NPCs don't really "roam" they follow a path. Sometimes they do it randomly. For example, you have 4 points that make a square. You might be inclined to start at point 1 and move around until you hit point 4 (1, 2, 3, 4). What if you moved in 2, 4, 1, 3 order? It would look different.
