could i do this?
can i make a third person action platforming game? i started reading the game making with reality book, but it didnt say if third person platforming is possible. it said no hardware acceleration or driving games. and i also noticed that rf is also for making machinimas, where are some that were made in rf?

im not sure which ones were made in rf. All i know is it is possible to do it. you can make a 3d 3rd person view platform. read the the manual its better than making 3d games with Reality Factory in my opinion. go to start programs, reality factory and rf manual. Read on from there.

Third person is possible and jumping is possible. That would mean that you can design levels for a platformer and they would work just fine.
