Questions for an industry veteran

Post by paradoxnj »

If you have any questions about Sound Design, Music Composition or Sound programming, post them here and I will do my best to answer them. I'm thinking about starting a Music Composition 101 thread. Would you guys find any value in that?

From a technical perspective, it depends on what it sounds like. I don't own CS so I am not sure what an airsoft gun sounds like.
Ethically, you cannot use CS sounds. Try recording a firecracker in an aluminum trash can then apply some EQ/Reverb for a good handgun effect. Add rapid delay to it to become an M16.

Here is a set of M16 sounds. What kind of handgun do you want to emulate?
