The music pool game....

Post by ardentcrest » Fri Sep 05, 2008 1:41 am

I think its time we have we have some fun here.
Not a Competition but a, how would you do it.

You have been given the job of doing the title music for a new game. This game is the ultimate game in the world. The game to end all games.

WWII 6th June 1944 "D-DAY"

Today is the 5th of September, all themes must be in by the 5th October.

Each month we will pick a diffrent game type and try to get a pool of tunes together for it.
What do you think?????

IMO, this would be a modern orchestral score.

:( Had to. It was impossable to find any orchestral loops or samples that were free, from the 40's.

I would have been nice to get that proper sound and feel.

Do you have a keyboard? If so...does it support MIDI?

Nice score man :D gotta love the bugles at the intro. What are you using to put this all together? A midi style deal or are you mixing this with just a normal editor?

paradoxnj : I do, but at the moment I do not have the cables for it. I hope to get them soon

jonas : I use the free versions of Acid pro and Magix music maker, I got off a computer musc dvd. But I use Psycle to make afew loops.

I also spend a lot of time trying to find free loops and samples that I like, and that is the heard part.

ComputerMusic also has a pretty decent DAW called ComputerMuzys. When you get your cables, have a look at that.
