Sorry LtForce, I should have been more clear. Guardian = Parent (adopted mom and dad). The character's parents were killed and this person (Bernie) took them in and raised them.

Step-parents are when your birth mom or dad marries another person. A guardian is a legal term saying that someone is not a parent but is responsible for the children. Ever read some permission slips that say "please have a parent or guardian sign".

Oh thanks. Never knew that.

Where could I read that?
In my language that would mean "tėvų ar globėjų parašas"
Ok, enough with the offtopic

So far so good. I had to abandon RF2 because of this. We simply don't have enough time to complete RF2 in time. Because of the engine switch, RF2 basically needs a rewrite of everything. I am looking at the feasibility of using RF1 by updating the OpenGL driver and some other useful modifications. I am still on target and have a large list of models that are needed both static and animated. I also have the first town and part of the world map for levels. I figure that at worst, I can use XNA which I am very proficient in and have a game shell for already. RF1 is a bit more mature though, so i'd rather look into that first.

ok, cool, how about the story, thats my main interest at the moment, eery game has to have a good story or at least a story to play, or else it just goes into the big blure of "ordanary£ games, if you need any help with this i could see what i could come up with.

This project sounds great, I like the ideas, reminds me a bit of a cute lil rpg I played ages ago with a boy and girl hero, it was actually very mature for its theme, and had a brilliant story/atmosphere.
I hope this project goes through to completion.

It's moving along. Still in the design phase. Some coding is being done to RF1 to make it a little more compatible.

I figured I'd start with a small list. I'll add some more stuff to the list this week.

Is this still in the works or has everyone lost interest?
