OpenGL driver issue

Post by MakerOfGames » Wed Aug 30, 2006 8:04 pm

When I load the latest RF(075A) with the openGL driver in 32 bit color it displays everything as if its 16 bit color.

[Edit]
Direct3D 32 bit works properly. I don't use it however, because it slows my computer down too much.
My graphics card is Nvidia Riva TNT2 model 64 pro 32 meg's.

the openGL driver has never worked as well as the D3D Driver. GL may give you a speed boost, but the graphics almost never look right with it.

Odd, I just swapped the menu background in 075a to 072a and used both the 32 and 16 bit openGL drivers. The old 072a openGL 32 bit driver works fine on my pc. I tried to upload a screen shot of how it looks in 16 and 32 bit openGL but I got an error:
Upload Error: Could not upload Attachment to ./files/opengl_32_bit_072a_118.jpg.
Anyway, could I swap the old 072a openGL driver into 075a? Or didnt the driver change and it is somthing in the genesis/RF code causing this?

The openg driver hasn't been touched since RF70, i think.
