Max 39 lights

Max 39 lights

With 39 lights the level runs.At 40 lights it crashes.
Is it the editor,the engine-or both that cant handle 40 lights?
I have only 31 Bsp brushes (no staticmeshes), 224 portals,1520 Total visible areas.
Could it be that it has always been this way,and nobody used more than 39 lights?
If it was 3000 lights i would nt ask.
Could someone place 40 and more lights in a level and tell me?

That was Bsp and lights.
For the moment i will use open areas which can be lit by 2-3 master lights and add some staticmeshes rooms to reduce the number of total lights.Even if you place a light behind a wall,it will still reach the staticmesh.

The limit for DinamicLights is 30

They were "plain" spotlights,i replaced them with lights and its ok now.

now...this is just a question
BUT....
are not ALL lights other than NORMAL lights
considered as DYNAMIC lights ?? :)
