[OBSOLETE] Character Selection menu broken?

im having a problem with the character selection menu, when I enabled the option in the .INI file, not all of the menu graphics are loaded and the whole thing just freezes (ctr + shift + esc works though)

can anyone help me with this?

just wanted to rephrase what I said...
the game freezes only when I have the character selection enabled(main menu graphics didnt all load) , I disabled it again and everything is fine main menu graphics all loaded properly

finally got to look into the problem... seems to work fine, it only crashed when I used a background that wasn't defined (fixed that so no background image is shown if an undefined background image is used)
