Older version of RF more stable?

Post by Nighthawk_0973 » Tue Apr 19, 2011 2:30 am

I hope I put this in the right place I've been using RF for quite some time now and just now joined the forums.

Hey guys and I have been creating this game with RF but the version of RF that I'm using is: 075A (no clue how that got on there or why its in the my documents folder). Anyways I'm glad it happened because, in my opinion, 075A is WAY more stable than 076. I didn't have to fix 2 different bugs that were pretty tough to fix and caused me to quit RF for a couple months or so before trying it again when I was really bored. I got it to fix thanks to the wonderful forums (entities error, very common one it seems) and some of them because of pure instinct. (Cannot find default *.txl).
Also there is a cooler menu interface and icons/manual, in my opinion anyways. Does anyone have different opinions?

btw I tried to attach it but it was too large, anyways can anyone agree on this (I'll make a poll) even if they don't have the newer version?

If you would have looked at the changelog of RF 0.76 you might have noticed that a number of bugs have been fixed since version 0.75. Most problems people encounter with RF 0.76 stem from the installer program.
