Snap to grid gets borked when zooming in/out.....

Post by Silverwing » Thu Nov 17, 2005 8:27 am

steps to reproduce:

1. start any new level with default snap grid settings

2. place several brushes ( Identical sizes )

3. zoom in/out several times

4. move them around abit or make new brushes (again same size )

5. take a good look on how the snap to grid positioning gets borked

is this happening to anyone else?

maybe the grid itself changed(when zooming out the grid size changes. you can see it somewhere in the right bottom of the window, i think).

i never had this problem. which leveleditor did you use?

Grid size changes when you zoom in and out. Otherwise when you zoomed out the grid would look like a white plane or zoomed in you wouldn't be able to see but maybe 1 line of the grid.

So long as the brushes are not moving around which I have never experienced it's working just as it should.
