Nice job on the artwork. Why is your level a Static Mesh? Make it out of brushes.

Thanks Hike1...

My level is a Static Mesh because i couldn't make a level with a high frame rate on RFEditPro. That is the one thing that i can't understand in Reality Factory.

I've tried but the level is very slow. :oops: and the scripting failed.

Valeran told me about his project and his static meshes as levels with a high frame rate. For that reason I tried to make the same thing.

Hike1, is this a bug?? does it have some solution?

Change your d3d24.ini to this:

[d3d24]
Bpp = 32
ZBufferD = 24
BBufferCount = 1
CompressTextures = 0
FSAntiAliasing = 0
ExtraTextures = 1
NoVsync = 1
Async = 1
DoNotWait = 1

Put ExtraTextures=0 if you're not using DOT3 or EMBM or
stencil shadows? in your game.

a 1 room-brush level goes about 90 FPS on my machine,
nvidia fx5700, athlon 2400, 512MB RAM.

I told that bsp is faster,but if the staticmeshes had shadows as good as bsp,
if the sliding worked on them would make everything on staticmeshes.
