what is the absolute minimum needed in ini files please?

Hello, and thanks for any help.
I just want to make two or three rooms with textures on walls, a few objects, for meditation assistance.
What is the absolute minimum needed in the ini files to be able to make my own game that just has those 3 rooms?
I used to do this in the old days, about 3 years ago
But now the menus are automatic and so complicated.
Just need to take out the health indicator, take out the compass. I was able to take out the gun just by setting it to '0' in the ini file.
