Cannot open pre-comiled levels.

Post here if you have problems getting Reality Factory running on your machine. Please make sure you have the latest DirectX installed as well as updated drivers for your video & sound card before posting...

Cannot open pre-comiled levels.

I do not know why, but I cannot open levels made by someone else or any of the demo levels. I downloaded the level from Animatrix today, but when I try to open it, it says "cannot find C:/Reality Factory/media/levels/DungeonBase.3dt"

I have all my things in the right place, I even have the "dungeonbase.3dt" right where it says it cannot find it. I have never been able to open premade levels, so this is not the first time.

Help?

Try the configure RF tool and see if it works :?

Edit: Ok, I got it. I have to open the editor and import it, not just double click the icon (???)

Another edit: Id like to report a small problem with your map. When you walk down the stairs from the start, the characters head gets stuck in the cieling, and he floats around. I dont know what happens next, my game crashed soon after.

Yes, this is the virgil model, it doesnt happen in other models, dont know why, but tried it with babe.act and ceiling thing didnt happen.

My problem was the default actor was babe.act, and I didnt have that. And for some reason, the only actors I can use are Nout and Daniel since I got the update. I switched the entity to virgil.act, and now virgil moves just fine.

You have to disable charactor selection in the rf ini file, then it will use the player act listed in player entity
