Do you have a graphics card or is this the onboard graphics?
Everyone can see the difficult, but only the wise can see the simple.

almost certainly onboard.

try this: open c:\realityfactory\realityfactory.ini, and change the line:

Driver=d3d

to:

Driver=opengl

then save the file and try rf again. welcome to the forums!

I'm not very optimistical about solving the problem with intel integrated graphics chips.
If you look at the intel compatibility list for this graphics controler you'll see that many games have problems with it. http://support.intel.com/support/graphi ... 010467.htm
It only supports 16 bit display mode, 8 bit textures are not supported, it does not have enough precission to perform certain alpha operations etc...

The Intel® 82810 and 82815 graphics controllers have entered into limited engineering support mode. Intel will continue to make existing graphics drivers available, but will no longer release updates to the graphics drivers for these products.

The fact that I don't own this specific hardware makes it even less probable that the problem gets fixed, sorry. In general I can only recommend to stay away from integrated graphics solutions if you want to do anything else but displaying word documents - their only advantage is that they are cheap.

I have intel built in graphics on my system, RF runs fine, as well as Unreal, I have an E-Machine with 256 megs of ram and built in intel 82845G graphic chip with a Celeron processor, make sure you have updated the driver and try increasing the shared video memory. Try disabling graphic acceleration functions and run RF again, but use a very small basic level, start in RFedit pro, I have run RF on some really low end machines and it still ran fine,

Crack open your computer and see if it has an AGP slot, it
will be brown, if so, you can disable the onboard video in
BIOS AFTER you've bought a real AGB video card. Fry's
electronics had an nvidia 5200 for $59 with a $30 rebate.
