Glowing Objects

Post by Jaguar_jwg » Fri Jul 06, 2007 10:09 pm

I could not decide where this post belongs.
I want to have either an arrow that glows or shines like a light. Is this possible? If so, how can I accomplish it?

by using radiosity when you compile you can have colors glowing. you need to assign them as a light in the brushface properties. this can be also be enhanced by a corrona entity to simulate a glow.

however using rad drastically increases compile times, espesically if you have a complex level. small one off corriors you shouldn't see a lengthy wait time.
