Faster terrain rendering

I realized my terrain static meshes, when exported from World Editor 2, (Nem's brush terrain) had 4624 faces, while only 500 or so ever showed in the game, duh. Took me a while to trim them in Max and rebuild, but the FPS went from about 32 to 52, most
polys rendered at a time is about 615. Couldn't figure out how
to tell Max to 'Just pick the faces perpendicular to the viewport,'
why it took so long.
